Ben Bleazard DPT
Ben provides thoughtful, attentive physical therapy services. He emphasizes the common ground between research-based intervention, the patient’s goals, and his own clinical experience.
After he earned a doctorate in physical therapy in 2007, Ben completed a two-year residency in orthopedic manual therapy. He is a board certified specialist in orthopedic physical therapy.
Before attending physical therapy school, Ben completed an undergraduate degree in biology. He worked for seven years in the field of molecular biology, also working as a Tae Kwon Do instructor at The University of Utah. He was a three sport athlete in high school and has recovered from multiple injuries through physical therapy.
Ben has been privileged to receive extensive training on manual mobilization of low back, neck, pelvis, thoracic spine, and rib cage. He has a personal interest in chronic and complicated shoulder problems. He has also pursued additional training in physical therapy treatment for the hand, foot, ankle, hip, and knee. He proficient in multiple approaches, allowing him to change between schools of thought as needed.
In his free time, Ben enjoys spending time with his wife and two sons.
